do i need to use glue etc on this gasket also is this a cork gasket?

Jerry, we do not recommend applying any glue or sealer to the Quick Niche Gasket - 630025. No, the Quick Niche Gasket - 630025 is not cork.

This gasket is a perfect fit for the Pentair QuickNiche light niche. Don't risk using a "generic" gasket.
