How do you remove the screw that holds the impeller in place for a waterway SVL56 1 1/2 pool pump?

Hello Mark. There is a left handed screw in the center of the impeller. Instead of "righty tighty, left loosy" you would unscrew to the right. Remove the back of the motor and you should see the shaft of the motor. You will need to immobilize it , then you can unscrew the center screw. After that is out, the impeller should only be on hand tight so it should unscrew as well to the right.

My units is older 8-10 years. My Waterway impeller is stamped 313-1350 what is the new part number?
