IN-LINE CHLORINATOR STEM ASSEMBLY (600-1190)
Hi this is the second time I wrote you.
I have a in line chlorinator CLC5012 I want to remove the stem, which is broken but no matter what I do
does not move is threaded? do I need a puller? is there a screw holding it? how in the world I can remove in order to
replace? your diagram is way too small to see how is the stem attached to the housing. Hope I will get an answer to
this issue. Thank you sincerely
Simon Ibanez
Hi Simon, This part should just unscrew to be removed. I would suggest reaching out directly to the manufacturer Waterway Plastics to see if they have any tips or tricks on how to remove this part if it is stuck.

Second one I ordered within 3 years. Plastic part is easily broken when a small obstruction is encountered. Breaks at the operation dial and snaps very weak material. Recommend the device be removed at least once a year to verify there is not debris in the line that will impede its operation. Also should include direction for install and or information how the part works within the unit

Pros: OEM part
Cons: expensive
Great replacemment for my broken valve. Installation was simple. Removal of the old broken stem was a hassle as the stem broke in halg on removal. I had to drill remaining portion to reduce size and remove with hanger. Once removed and cleaned, new stem installed in seconds and works as designed!
