It'd be too narrow and too tall for your pump. The basket you need for your pump is part number 5020-053.

Hi, Andrew. The Pump Basket - R0445900 is the correct basket for the SHPF pump.

Hi Dr. P. B. Markovic, Unfortunately the strainer and the strainer and strainer basket for the PHPU1.5 was discontinued by the manufacturer without a replacement. I would suggest reaching out to www.jandy.com to see if they can assist.

Remove pump lid and insert pump basket. Place lid back onto pump and hand tighten. Clean and have for standby when in service basket needs cleaning.

Pump basket fit for My pool and has held up nicely considering it exposed to chlorine 24/7.

This pump basket is the same exact as old one. Nice to have one in service and one on standby. Simply swap out and clean at later time while returning pump back online. No waiting.
