how can I replace this not onto the manifold assembly --- Union Valve Nut Black (51013011)
there is a flange which holds the nut on - do I have to replace that as well ? I am not sure if i can cut and glue and still have it match the length of the surviving part of the manifold. If i bought enough parts to rebuild both ports would a complete new back wash 263052 valve be less expensive ?

If you are having to cut I recommend not just the nut but also part number 4650-63.
