What are the overall measurements of this standpipe? This is the old one that lasted for not only one season and had sand in the pool hoping the replacement is better. Ordered new filter from you on 4/27/2018
We are sorry but the length is not mfg published specs. You need to confirm the filter model to verify you are getting the correct item. This is for A Jacuzzi L250, if that is the correct model then it is the correct standpipe assy.

Adjustable Wrench, 1/4 '' impact driver, shop vac and a clean wheel barrel to put the sand in
Removed piping from filter head, removed head and used shop vac to remove sand from filter. Stand pipe was separated between top and bottom half because some of the clips where worn. Assembled new stand pipe in side of the filter. Filled filter with water about half way. Replaced sand and keep stand pipe centered in top of filter. Filled filter to the top with water and installed head with new gasket. Hooked up the piping and ran filter to checked for leaks. So far it is working ok.
