I have a Morgan Spa with a BN37 2 speed 1 hp motor. I need the motor and pump for this. Will this Aqua Flo Geko Alliance FMCP motor and pump be the replacement for it?

Hi Bobby, The info you've provided is just for the motor, we will need to confirm the wet end also if you're wanting to match up your existing pump to this FMCP Pump. If the wet end does not matter to you then this pump can be used as a replacement.

Is this pump pretty quiet and what is the benefit of the upper capacitor to not having one on the system? Using it to replace and old Sta-rite JSAYDL-A on a koi pond. Thanks

Hi. This pump is quiet. The capacitor allows the pump to operate more efficiently.

Hi, this pump is listed as a replacement for 03510243-1. However, that pump is a single speed, not a 2SPD as listed here. Can I replace the single speed pump with this one and only hook up the high speed?

Hi Jenn, Yes the single speed version is no longer available however you can hook it up to the high speed as you indicated. This pump is currently in stock ready to ship however our inventory has been selling very quickly, so the sooner better on ordering =)

I bought a new replacement for an out dated pump!

Written on 6/8/2017 by Al L.

Pulling the old pump was no problem. After examination, I noticed that my worn out pump/motor had the capacitor inside the electric motor on the end. The new motor and pump fit perfectly EXCEPT that the capacitor was much larger which is a good thing. The bad was that it would not fit into my control panel as it was about 1/8 inch too tall. I carefully took the capacitor cover off to see that there was enough space inside the metal capacitor shroud to take the capacitor out and take a ball pean hammer and tap the edge on the housing enough to make it fit. The capacitor slid back in no problem and I am a happy camper. A few careful minutes with a hammer sure beat sending the pump and motor back. Now I can barely hear the motor run and life is good!
