Product Description

Have your Pool on Alert while you Relax!

THE POOL SENTRY™ is used to maintain the water level of a pool, spa or pond automatically and unattended. When the Pool Sentry is removed from the box, it is easily assembled by threading the fill tube into the float valve. Snap the fill tube and float valve into the base and fill the base with small rocks or pea gravel. Next, snap the top cover onto the base and attach the garden hose (not included). Finally, adjust the float to the desired position.

The water stays on at all times when the Pool Sentry is in the pool. As the float drops, the water turns on. When the float reaches its set height, the water shuts off. The customer can adjust the float to any desired level, usually a point halfway on the tile line or skimmer.

Because the hose is under constant water pressure, it is essential that the customer uses a heavy-duty, reinforced hose.

Features:

  • Protects pump against burnout
  • Maintains water level while on vacation
  • Use for rental or vacant homes
  • Fills pool after acid wash
  • No tools required - simply attach hose
  • Controls level in leaking pools, ponds or spas
  • Unattached operation
  • COMPLETELY PORTABLE!

We have finally finished my pool deck renovations but we realized we have overlooked not installing a Levelor when we had the chance. We would love our pool to have a Levelor but don't want to crack up our deck again will this work?

The short answer is, definitely. This product is meant to be a no fuss solution to an issue that affects many pool owners. This product protects your pool filtering system from running dry which saves you money on equipment replacement plus no expensive install.

I have a Pool Sentry M-3000. Periodically it make a high pitch whinning noise when filling. It stops once the pool is full. How do I stop this noise other than turning it off at night ?

According to the manufacturer there are two options. You can turn down the water pressure going to the water filler. If that doesn't work, the other option is to replace the float valve assembly. Unfortunately we do not carry the float valve assembly because it costs as much as a new M-3000.

How can I stop the "moaning" sound from the Pool Sentry valve?

Hi, Take the unit apart and inspect it to see what is causing the noise. We don't have replacement parts for this unit.

When setting the float to the desired water level, is it the bottom or top of the float that sets the desired water level?

Correct, Works like a float on a toilet. You can adjust the height you want it to shut off at.

Always having to check pool and add water

Written on 12/8/2022 by Guest

The Pool Sentry M3000 Automatic Water Filler was so easy.
It worked right out of the box, just adjust the water level with the turn of the knob to the setting you want and it was done.
No more always having to check the pool water level to make sure the pump isn't sucking air!
