What is the warranty on the Game Solar Pro Heater? Also can I connect 2 or more of them together?
Reply
The warranty on the Game Pro Solar Heater is 1 year from the date of purchase. You can connect more than one in a "series".

Can I used this for a 6 person jacuzzi? We don't need too much temperature, only a warmer water
Reply
The SolarPro could heat your spa, the only drawback is that it is dependent upon exposure to sun light. If you would ever need a quick rise in temp or want to keep a sustained higher temperature you would need to use a traditional spa heater

Can I use this system for an in-ground pool? If not, what is the reason? Thanks
Reply
This system can be used on an inground pool. However, you may need several of them to see a noticable difference.

Recently purchased one of these solar heaters for my Intex Above Ground 15'x42" round pool (with factory included pump/filter). When changing the filter I noticed water now fills the pump/filter chamber instead of flowing through as well as it did prior to installing the heater. Do I need a larger pump to push water through the heater? I've been dealing w/ algae blooms this year too, haven't had that problem in the past. Thanks!

Ken, You will need to upgrade the pump/filter so that water can be filtered through the solar panels. It sounds like what you have now is not strong enough.

Would one of these heat a 15 by 32 pool or would I need more than one? The pool only gets the later part of the sun daily and just need a boost for temp.

Hi Melissa, The Game SolarPro Solar Heater (4512) has been replaced with the Game Large SolarPro II Solar Heater (4513). You will need multiple heaters if you want to heat the pool fast.

(1 out of 5 stars) Leaked after installation / not very powerful

Pros: None
Cons: Leaked / would not have warmed much
This was easy to install but it began to leak around the seal at the base the same day and we lost many gallons of water. After about 12 hours of trying to patch the base where the tubes were glued to the base with every kind of underwater patch I could find, I contacted INYO who were kind enough to give me a refund. I was also disappointed in how much it actually would warm your water the advertising made it seem like it would do MUCH more than it is capable of. The recommendation on the box is to daisy chain several of them together. At that point it would be cheaper/easier to buy one quality solar heater.
