Hi Tim, for a 32,000 gallon pool I would suggest the Pool Frog XL System.

I see that this product lasts 6 months. But what happens then? Is there a replacement cartridge or do you have to buy another one of these products the following season?

I was never great about keeping up with the chemicals in my pool. This Pool Frog Mineral Sanitizer is the best thing ever invented for pool owners. It helps keep everything in balance, and I have had zero problems since using this product. Highly recommend it!
