Is my valve completely shot if the spa drains into pool after pump shuts off and the level rises up in pool till it hits the overflow level?

It sounds like it may be the diverter gasket. In that case, you will need to replace the diverter assembly.

Is this an "open" and "closed" valve? I am looking for a valve to turn a water feature on and off....and what electronic actuator would I use with this valve...I have a Hayward Aquasalt system with external controls....I want to run this valve from my touch pad

Hi. This is an Open and Closed valve which can be controlled electronically by a Hayward GVA-24 Actuator.

Is this valve made by Jandy?
Will this top component (where screws hold down) fit my current Jandy valve. My top part of valve (Jandy) is cracked and I want to just replace the top, cracked component. I cannot cut out the existing PVC

Hi Frank, This valve is made by CMP and replaces a Jandy valve. Unfortunately the parts from this valve will not fit into a Jandy valve.

Great valve. Much nicer than the ball-style valves. Unions make it easy to replace existing fittings and disassemble for future repairs.

I had been changing so many valves on my pool system that would freeze up. Now, thanks to these valves I bought from you I have not had any problems operating my pool. Thank you!

Pros: We'll built, quality valve that can be rebuilt
Cons: Handle position seems backwards
We'll built valves with full face rubber gaskets. The handle position is a little deceiving with handle across meaning open.

Cons: too bad they don't make it with female pipe thread. that could come in handy
At long last, a quality all plastic valve, that does not require lubricating and can be removed for service or reinstalled elsewhere if the plumbing is reconfigured.
