I have 2G lights in my pool and want to put a 3G light in my spa. Will the 2G and 3G versions synchronize with one another?

According to the manufacturer, the 2G and 3G versions will not synchronize with one another. To have the lights on the same color rotation, you would need to have the same version in both your pool and spa.

What is the difference between the G3 and the G2 LED Light?

The G3 uses newer technology which gives you brighter light output than the G2, also the older technology on the G2 let's you see individual rays of light where the new technology on the G3 has a much smoother light output. For a color-changing LED light, how do I switch between the different settings with just a standard light switch?

The LED lights are designed to move to the next programmed setting each time you turn the switch on and off. This will toggle through the different color settings and shows.

Pros: Long life, engery efficent, interesting to look at.
Cons: Initial cost is high but may be worth it in the long run.
Our pool uses 3 lights. The old regular lights kept burning out every couple of months. I decided to buy one of the Color Splash lights for a test. The shipping from InyoPools was very fast and the packaging very secure. Installation was fairly easy and although the Color Splash bulb is larger that the ordinary glass 300 watt flood lamp that was being replaced, it fit our existing pool light housing perfectly! The new light looked so nice that after a week I ordered two more! Now I have all three installed they looks great! We have a large pool and these lights are nice and bright and the colors are very pleasing to look at. They really make you feel like jumping in the pool for a night time swim with the relaxing changing colors. These bulbs are a little pricey but they are rated to last 100,000 hours which is 11 years! But if they only last for the 5 years that they are warrantied for I would say that they are definitely worth it.

The colors are not well distinguished. The blue and green look alike, the red cannot be seen.
