What does the rating "IP 55" on this misting fan mean?

Our fans are rated IP 55 which is a European Standard. IP refers to "ingress protection" with 5 points out of 6 against dust intrusion and 5 points out of 8 against water intrusion. IP 55 means that the motor can exclude all buy very fine dust, and will be unaffected by driven spray of water.
