Special Application Pool Pump

The Speck Model 21-80 is a high-efficiency plastic pool pump. The Model 21-80 is ideally suited for commercial vacuum and sand filters, hydrotherapy, swim spas, waterfalls, water slides, and vanishing edge pool applications. This pump design provides maximum flow at low head and is available in two version: flooded suction or self-priming.

Features

  • This high performance, medium head pump comes complete with our unique mechanical shaft seal that allows the pump, if mistreated, to run dry for up to one hour.
  • The pump can be used for pool water with a salt concentration of up to 5000 ppm. (For a higher concentration please call)
  • Pump parts are made of 100% recyclable plastic. Non-corrosive, chemical/UV resistant, and can withstand temperatures of up to 175° F.
  • For pool users' safety, the impeller has a dielectric shaft sleeve that provides absolute separation between the pool water and electric parts.
  • All models are equipped with 4" quick disconnect unions.
  • Heavy duty "1081" pool motor with large 56 frame is thermally protected, has a PSC switchless design and extra large sealed ball bearings.
  • Motor is easy to remove without disturbing the plumbing. Reusable o-rings throughout.
  • Two year warranty on the motor and all pump parts, including normal wear of the mechanical seal.
  • Every pump is performance tested before leaving the Speck factory.

I would like to verify that this motor comes complete with the unions for connecting to 4" pipe. They are shown in the picture but experience proves you don't always get what's in the picture

Yes the 4" unions do come with this pump.

Hello.  According to Speck Pumps Technical Service, the amperage draw for the Speck 4.0 HP Single Speed Special App 3 Phase Pool Pump model SA103-1400F-000 is 14 amps @ 208VAC, 12.8amps @ 230VAC, and 6.4amps @ 460VAC.   Speck 21-80 4 HP 3 Phase Special App. Pool Pump (21-80/33 GS) (Self Priming) - SA103-1400F-000

Secured the new pump from INYO. It arrived in two days and had the couplings necessary. After removing the old pump and making the connection to new valves the new pump is working as expected.
