Speck AquaSkim Pool Skimmer for Vinyl/Fiberglass Pools

The Skimmer is manufactured from high quality plastic materials and is designed for all types of swimming pools: concrete, fiberglass, and vinyl liner. Unique features make this skimmer suitable for swimming pool markets around the world.

Features:

  • Rugged reinforced housing has extra large filtration area.
  • The lid is made of durable and rigid polypropylene which can be safely secured with two stainless steel screws.
  • The deck collar has an adjustable height allowing for a variety of deck materials and thicknesses.
  • Various plumbing options for different installation applications:Two 2” bottom ports for connection to pump and main drain.Extra suction port for connection to vacuum or automatic suction cleaner designed to eliminate the need for an in-line strainer.Overflow drain connection preventing the pool from overflowing during heavy rain.
  • The one piece leaf trap basket offers ease in removal and clean-out.
  • Throat extensions are available in 31/2” increments. Collar extensions are also available.

The inside dimensions of the Speck AquaSkim mouth compartment are roughly 11.5" x 5.5".

Does the Speck AquaSkim Pool Skimmer have a flap?

The skimmer for vinyl liner / fiberglass pools comes complete with floating weir ( or flap ) , vac plate and face plate with gaskets, hardware and cover.

If the floating weir brakes can it be replaced easily? I don't see it as an order-able part.

Is there a vacuum plate to go inside the speck Aqua skim for connecting vacuum it came with a cover in side with a 3/4 opening does not seem big enough don't know what this piece is for

Hi Jeff, That part that you're referring to is the Vacuum Lid. It's used to dedicate suction when the vacuum port is in use. If you don not have the vacuum port then you will have to remove the vacuum lid and the basket and connect pool cleaner to the suction port to the pump.
