I have fiberglass stairs in a below ground pool with a vinyl liner. The stairs were painted with a chalky white paint, which is chipping off considerably. The underlying color appears to be ice blue, or a reasonable facsimile thereof. I realize I will have some paint chipping to do, but I need to know if this rubberized product product is appropriate for fiberglass stairs, over half of which are constantly underwater. Thank you.

Hi, Michael. Painting over a fiberglass surface, you will need to use an epoxy paint.
