How do I lower my total alkalinity level in my swimming pool?
Reply
You can either partially drain and refill the pool or you can use muriatic or dry acid. Both acids will also lower the pH so you will have to monitor and adjust the level accordingly.

What causes scale build up in a pool? My pool walls always seem to have a build up along the water line.
Reply
Scale along the water line can be caused by high pH, alkalinity and calcium levels. I would recommend having your pool water tested and adjust the levels as needed.

Pros: Good size. More than the store brands. Also great price.
I've been having a lot of trouble keeping the pool ph down lately, and this brought it down immediately. Plus, it was cheaper per pound than any of the store brands
