Our After-Market Aquabot pool cleaner drive tracks by AquaQuality are every bit as good as the OEM tracks but at half the price.
Drive Tracks are the rubber belts that wrap around both sides of the aquabot wheel tubes. Typically over time the drive tracks will get loose and worn out. As your drive tracks deteriorate this will hurt your robotic pool cleaner's ability to climb stairs and may affect the cleaning pattern as well. Aquabot suggests pushing the belt off the wheel while rotating it, then using the reverse to put it back on. The drive tracks are one of the easiest parts to replace on your Aquabot. Make certain the track is set squarely in its channel and replace the rubber drive track when it no longer stays in the channel. We have put together a handy How To Guide on how to replace robotic pool cleaner tracks please note that the cleaner we used in the How To Guide is a Dolphin pool cleaner but the process for the Aquabot is very similar.

Our Aquabot was not climbing walls for some reason, and somewhere online I read that it might be because the drive tracks were loose. We've owned the bot for 2 years so I figured it was worth a try. Sure enough, it worked! Nice tight new tracks did the job. These were exactly the same as the OEM tracks (except a different color).
