Original Bottom Rail and plates were not reusable due to rust/deterioration. We discarded those immediately
First sought the parts at the supplier where the pool was originally purchased: expensive parts
Decided to search for parts online and found Inyopools
Ordered the needed bottom plates, bottom rails, and a new liner
Leveled the spot to put up the pool
Started with 6 mil plastic covering and set bottom plates and rails on plastic
Used rustoleum paint on rusted parts of sidewall
Set the sidewall in the new rail
Installed liner, top plates, and top rails
Started filling pool and then installed pump and filter
Walked around outside of pool and coated the bottom rails and bottom plates (very bottom of sidewall as well) with rustoleum paint
Around outside of the the pool to keep from mowing close to pool, we left 2' or so of the plastic (also under pool) covering the ground and cover the plastic with gravel outlined with larger stones.
Been joying the pool very much. I have ordered some additional parts, caps and such to finish off.
