Does this basket have the hole in the bottom for the rod that slides into it to hold it in place?

Nancy, the generic basket is an aftermarket replacement, meanwhile this basket is the OEM basket replacement.

What are the dimensions for the OEM Aqua Genie skimmer basket? My Aqua Genie was made in 1985. I got a new basket from a company and it does not work because it is not the OEM model.The old OEM is approx. 8" at the top, 5-!/4" across the bottom, and 6-1/4" high w/ a hole in the bottom 3/4" from the side,and a metal handle 7-1/2"long. Do you carry one that would be that size??..
