Product Description

Butyl Tape is a hand-moldable rubber-like gap filler that can be applied underwater without messy caulk guns or mixing.  Note that it is not like a traditional "tape" with only one sticky side, since the tape (or ribbon) of butyl tape is tacky on all surfaces.  It retains a flexible and tacky consistency making it well-suited for a variety of permanent or temporary leak-stopping applications: 

• Pack around pool light cable to seal or prevent leaking in the light conduit (removable).
• Can be applied underwater
• Replace rubber gaskets with or without removing the fitting.
• Fill/seal cracks gaps or voids.

Butyl Tape never hardens and packs well into voids.  It is removable and reuseable.  Stretch it out a bit if you need it thinner or roll it on top of itself to make it thicker.
