I have a dura-glas pump 3/4 HP it started to smoke and blow fuses now it doesn't work. Can you tell me where to get it repaired? Also where are you located? I am in Markham, Ontario Canada

Hi Glenda, I am not 100% sure where you could get this repaired in Canada. However we do carry the Speck Easy Fit pump which is a direct replacement for the dura-glas pump and this pump may be less expensive then getting your old pump repaired. We do ship to Canada so we could have to you in 5-7 business days.

Tell me just how you are supposed to evaluate the pump if you don't install it by plumbing in the lines? What good is a 30 day return because the pump has to be used to see if it works unless you suggest just testing the motor.

Pete, Once installed, the pump would be covered under warranty and would be returned for exchange if defective.

I need an impeller and seal for a 72743 model pump , a drain plug,and gasket, and o-ring set also.

i have an above ground splapool 72742 pump froze up after vacuuming is it possible to take apart to see if the impeller caught something like a seed ?

Yes, I suggest reading our article and watching our video "How To Clean Out a Pool Pump Impeller". I would inspect the impeller and if you see and clogs follow the steps in the article to clear them.
