I have the filter part was wandering if this Wilberforce able to fit it.. and will this work on a 3000 gallon index pool.

Nikki, This 1 HP Above Ground Pool Pump will work on your 3000 gallon index pool. If you have the standard fitting for the hose connection you can use it with this pump.

Which port on the pump is the intake from the water sourse and which is the output to the filter and onto the pool.

The port on the front of the pool pump is the intake and the port coming out the top at the 12 O'clock position is the discharge port.

Hi Quincy, The intake and discharge ports accomodate 1-1/2" plumbing. If you are using 1-1/2" or 1-1/4" hose than this pump can easily accomodate 1-1/2" or 1-1/4" hose by using these 1-1/2" & 1-1/4" Hose Adapters.

is this pump compatible with with the intex premium pool set 12ft x 30 in model #26711EH?

The 1.0HP above ground pool pumps are suggested for above ground pools up to 1.0HP. The concern with replacing the pump only with your Intex model is what filter you have and will it be compatible with it or will it pressurize the filter. I best recommend replacing it with the Waterway TWM-30 System 16" Sand 1/2" HP, with Trap - 520-1601

Hi, I asked some questions on the PO12730 1 1/2 HP pump using it with my Hayward EC-50 filter. It was hard to see what HP my old motor was and was thinking it was a 1 1/2 HP but now I am not sure. I am putting up a 15' x 30' x 52" pool, do you think this PO12729 1HP will be OK or should I go with the PO12730 1 1/2HP? The only other thing that would be used with the filter is a Hayward Aqua bug cleaner. Thanks,

Hi Ron, For your set up with the pool cleaner we would suggest going the 1-1/2 HP PO12730 Pool Pump I believe with the EC-50 you will need to rotate the discharge port on this pump to horizontal and you can find those instructions by following this Guide on How to Rotate Your Above Ground Pool Pump Discharge Port to Horizontal

    Thank you, and yes I know about changing the pump to horizontal. I will be putting in my order as soon as I see what else I might need for the pool.
