The filter and parts do not have a pre-determined time frame for replacement. If you have broken parts, you can always replace those if the parts are available. The D.E. powder is recommended to be changed every 6-12 months.

With this cartridge system do you have to backwash the system?

Hi, No, this filter does not have that capability. You will have to remove the grid assembly from the tank to clean it off.

I have a Clearwater Pool Filter and need to replace the large o-ring on the inside of the cover. Model # is CW2D-010395. Would you have this in stock?
