What is the difference between the Del Ozone Eclipse and Total Eclipse units?
Reply
The Total Eclipse ozone system uses an internal pump to operate 24-hours per day, independently from the main filtration system, while the standard Eclipse ties into the main pump cycle.

Can the Eclipse or Total Eclipse ozonators be used on an above ground pool?

Either model will work well on an above ground pool but we would recommend the use of the MDV (Mixing Degas Vessel) kit to protect the vinyl liner.

I recently had my pool resurfaced with pebble and added a salt chlorine generator. I was told that adding an ozonator would help reduce or eliminate scale and build-up on the chlorinator cell. Is this true?

A Del ozonator will definitely reduce scale and extend the life of a salt cell. Salt cells degrade according to the amount of chlorine they need to make. By requiring 50%-80% less chlorine on a daily basis, the life of the salt cell is extended by the same amount when you have an ozonator on your pool.

Do I need to do anything to the pool before the Del Eclipse is installed?
Reply
Yes, it is recommended that the filter is cleaned one day before starting the ozonator. The pH and alkalinity levels will need to be balanced. The pool will need to be super chlorinated and run continuously for 24 hours.

i had a uv ozonator that quit working. can i replace it with one of these? can I use the existing set up for the ozone to enter the system?

Mike, The Del Ozone Eclipse 4 Ozonator W/ Parts Bag can replace your current non working unit. The setup will be the same however not sure if the connectors will work with this unit.

The Del Zone Eclipse 4 0-zone generator. how many gallons of water is this good for

If this will be used as the pool's primary form of sanitizing then it can treat up 25k gallons of water. If there will be other sanitizing chemicals used then it can be used with up to 100k gallons of water.
