My aqua rite main circuit board has a part #066012c-1 rev c. what is the replacement board?
Reply
This item here (GLXPCBRITE) is backward compatible with all older versions of the Aquarite meaning that it will work on all versions of the Aquarite.
Reply
Are the glx-pcb-main and the glx-pcb-rite the same?
Reply
Allison, The GLX-PCB-RITE is for the AquaRite Salt System and the GLX-PCB-MAIN is for the AquaLogic Automated Control System. The AquRite would be a standard salt system where the AquaLogic is an Automated Control System with a Salt System. This means that the AquaLogic would normally also control equipment like lights, pumps, air blower etc. The control of this equipment is done through a remote control. So if you have the AquaRite you require the GLX-PCB-RITE and if you have an AquaLogic you require the GLX-PCB-MAIN

Hi, My pool co says my Power Interface Board is out (the capacitor is cracked). If I decide to try to replace the board myself, which part should I order. Here are some names & numbers he read off the panel: Aquarite Generator, 215 - 230, GLC21011 (Goldline Controls), Part# G1-066012E-1 year 2009.
Thanks,

I have a main PCB part number 066012C-1 Rev.C. The display board reads HOT and I have been told the likely culprit is the main PCB. Am I correct in understanding that the replacement for this is GLX-PCB-RITE?
Reply
Hi Michael, You can unplug the cell then press the diagnostic button. The PCB should read 77. If this is the case, verify that the water is not above 140 degrees (solar possibly on). If the water is not that warm, the cell will need to be replaced. The PCB would need to be replaced only if the temp still read hot after unplugging the cell and cycling through the diagnostics. This would be an extremely rare seen problem.
Reply
I know this was 5 years ago, but any idea what part on the board is bad? My temp is 162 and only drops to 155 when I unplug the cell.

I have the aqua rite system and I am not getting a salt reading or an instant

Make sure that your cell cable is plugged in securely. Then have a local pool store check your salt level to verify that it is not too low whick turns off your chlorine generation. If these suggestion do not work and your average salt reading is still showing 0, you probably have a faulty PCB.

Hi Ted, I'm unable to find "PLC" as an error code in the Goldline Aquarite Owners Manual, you may need to call Hayward Tech Support at 908.355.7995 to find out what that means before replacing the Aqua Rite Main PCB (GLX-PCB-RITE).

Can I use the old display when installing a new RITE board

Billy, The Aqua Rite Control Unit has two PCBs, the main PCB and the Display PCB. The display is integrated into the Display PCD. You do not have to buy a new Display PCB when you replace the Main PCB unless it was damaged.

I have an Aqua Rite salt system its around 10 years old. i added salt ( may be too much ) and i have no power lights or any lights but the display led still reads 2800 but no generation. I called hayward the tech had me push the diognostics twice it read 5.5 he then said the main pcb board is gone. On your web site under tips it said if the board is gone all lights would be yellow. i have no lights?

Hi Scott, There are several things that can happen to indicate that the PCB Board on a Aqua-Rite system is bad, no light is one. You also troubleshoot it with Hayward Tech Support and they indicated that the board needs to be replaced.

Hi Vickie, yes your issues are most likely due to a bad AquaRite PC Board. As long as you have an Aquarite salt system then this is the correct PC Board as this board is backwards comptible to all older versions of the Aquarite.

I think my PCB P/N has G1-066012F-1 Rev B. I have not seen this part number on anyone elses post. Is this part number compatible?

I believe you sent another question in confirming that you have the T CELL 5. If so and you have the standard stand-alone Aquarite salt system then your board part number is the original part number GLXPCBRITE.

I have a Goldline controls, Aqua Rite Electronic Chlorine Generator, the face has 3 bubbles on it. it has started doing strange things and I am not able to get to the T-Cell type setting anymore. G1-066012C-1 Rev C is the PN for the board. I have replaced the (thermistor?) 2R025 but it still will not go to the T-Cell type and as you scroll thru, the numbers may count down to zero for amps, instant chlorine, etc. none of the online help looks like the cover I have.
Irritated!

Hi. You can only change the cell size if your software revision is 1.5 or higher. Getting zeros for the amp and instant salinity reading could be a PCB issue or cell. You can have the cell tested at your local pool store if they have that capability.

I have a Hayward Swimpure+. Main board is G1-066012F-1 Rev A; display board G1-066604K-1. Most of the time the system works fine. Other times, the LCD goes out, is dim, has random segments lit, all status lights are on, or all lights flicker. Is this just a loose connection between the main board and display board or do I need to think about replacing one or the other or both. In the past I've had to replace the current limiter (AS32 2R025) twice on the main board. I am using a T-15 cell.
Reply
Hi Glenn, The circuit limiter is definitely a weak point on these boards. We have found that the circuit limiter can be repaired or replaced a few times but after a few repairs then the main pcb board will need to be replaced. I would suggest replacing the main board first as many times this will fix the issue with the dim display board. If the dimness doesnt improve at that point then you will need both boards. For the SwimPure Plus you will need this Swimpure Plus Main PCB Board and this Swimpure Plus Display Board.

Is there a way to calibrate my salt level on/with this board (G1-066008N-1))?
Testing at my local pool store says the salt is at 3000, but the system is telling me Salt is Low… add Salt.
Jim, based on your image, you have an AquaLogic system that uses the GLXPCBMAIN, not the GLXPCBRITE. I did not see any instructions on recalibrating the salt level in the owner's manual. If the system is reading low salt, you will want to inspect and clean the cell. Depending on the age of the cell (older than 3-5 years), the cell may need to be replaced.
