What is the ColorLogic Network Module designed for?
Reply
The ColorLogic network module is designed to be used with the new ColorLogic 4.0 lights and the ProLogic System. When used together the ColorLogic lights will display 101 color tones, 16 themed shows, while controlling light brightness, speed and movement. The 4.0 ColorLogic Lights can be seen here http://www.inyopools.com/lights_colorlogic.aspx. The ProLogic Systems & ColorLogic Modules can be seen here http://www.inyopools.com/sanitizers_pro_logic.aspx.

Do i just need the light and my current prologic controller which runs my pool filter and spa etc.. or do i have to have a separate controller for the colorlogic led pool light?

You can use just the ProLogic to control the ColorLogic light but you will only be using a fraction of the overall control capabilities. To get the complete control capabilities you would need to order the ColorLogic Gen. 4.0 light here http://www.inyopools.com/lights_colorlogic.aspx along with the ColorLogic Communication Module here http://www.inyopools.com/Products/02200000040136.htmWhen using the ColorLogic Communication Module with the ProLogic the ColorLogic lights will display 101 color tones, 16 themed shows, while controlling light brightness, speed and movement.

The ColorLogic Network Module is used with the Pro Logic to fully control the color, speed, motion and brightness of pre-set light shows in a compatible Hayward ColorLogic pool/spa light(s). After installing the ColorLogic Network Module and enabling the function in the Pro Logic, the user can program various parameters to fully customize their pool/spa light(s) operation.

Do I have to purchase the color logic control module for the light to work or will it work without it ?

Vinnie,The light will work without purchasing the Color Logic LED Communication module. The module is used to fully control the speed, motion, and brightness of the light. The light will still turn on and off and cycle through shows without the communication module.

Have a color logic 4.0 120v
What do I need just to control my light . Pick colors instead of switching up down up down on my switch

Hello, unfortunately, since your light is 120V, there is no standalone controller available.

Can I connect this to an OmniLogic controller? I thought the ProLogic was the old controller and the OmniLogic one was the newer one, but I don't see anything listed for compatibility.

Hi, Sagar. This is only compatible with the ProLogic Controller. The OmniLogic is the newer of the Hayward line of Automation control system.
