How long does it take to heat (indoors) 800 gallons from 74 F to 84 F

Hi Jeff, Based off of the infomation I've gathered from the Hayward CSPA Series Heater literature, it would take about 3.5 hours for the Electric Spa Heater 5.5 KW to raise a 800 gallon spa 10 degrees.

Can this pump be used on a soft sided Coleman pool with steel frame...9'x18'?

Hi, WL. This unit is an electric heater, not a pump. With the correct pvc connections and size pump, it will be able to heat a 9'x18' pool depending on the desired pool temperature.

The literature indicates it is for up to 400 gallon spas. I'm hoping to use it on a 1,500 gallon (therapy pool) that sits in a heated shed.
Am I just asking for trouble going with something that seems to be undersized? My thinking is that if the room is heated to 65 degrees I shouldn't have a terrible time heating it to 90 degrees as the 400 gallon is probably for heating a spa sitting outside in 20 degree weather to 100 degrees.

Hi, Jeff Boyd. Undersizing a heater or any equipment will cause the unit to be over worked causing it to fail. I would recommend the Electric Spa Heater 11 kW - CSPAXI11 model.

I have 5000 gallons pool. Do you think it will be enough to heat it up
