The ColorLogic network module is designed to be used with the new ColorLogic 4.0 lights and the ProLogic System. When used together the ColorLogic lights will display 101 color tones, 16 themed shows, while controlling light brightness, speed and movement. Do i just need the light and my current prologic controller which runs my pool filter and spa etc.. or do i have to have a separate controller for the colorlogic led pool light?

You can use just the ProLogic to control the ColorLogic light but you will only be using a fraction of the overall control capabilities. To get the complete control capabilities you would need to order the ColorLogic Gen. 4.0 light here http://www.inyopools.com/lights_colorlogic.aspx along with the ColorLogic Communication Module here http://www.inyopools.com/Products/02200000040136.htmWhen using the ColorLogic Communication Module with the ProLogic the ColorLogic lights will display 101 color tones, 16 themed shows, while controlling light brightness, speed and movement.

For a color-changing LED light, how do I switch between the different settings with just a standard light switch?
Reply
The LED lights are designed to move to the next programmed setting each time you turn the switch on and off. This will toggle through the different color settings and shows.

I currently have a ColorLogic version 2.5 pool light. Can I install version 4.0 in the same niche?
Reply
Yes,both the 2.5 and 4.0 versions of the Hayward ColorLogic lights will fit in the same niche. Please note that the two versions will not synchronize with one another. So if you have second version 2.5 ColorLogic light in your pool or one in your spa, it will not be on the same color rotation as the 4.0.

I have a Pentair intellibrite 5g color changing installed , can I replace it with this light?
and, what's the warranty on it?

JJ, Yes you can as long as you need 120v and 50ft cord length. It comes with a 1 year warranty.

My light is ran direct to the breaker so do I need to put in a switch for the light ?

Hi Vinnie, You will need to install a switch along with a junction box in order to properly operate this light.

I'm replacing a Pentair Ameribrite. The faceplate is just over a 10 inch diameter. Is this the same size? My pool is 38 feet long. Will this light the entire length of the pool?
Reply
Hi John, Yes this light will fit in the place of your Pentair light. 38 Feet is getting at the upper limits of what this light can do, the light will definitely be dimmer at the far side of the pool.

I have a color logic LED, it is strobing, is this a failure of the fixture, needing replacement or is there a fix?
Reply
When those color logic light go out you have to replace the entire thing, there isn't a replacement bulb for that.

Whats the difference between the plastic face and the metal face?
Reply
Paul, The only difference is the plastic face or the stainless steel face. When ordering, please be sure to select the correct voltage, cord length and size of the light (pool light vs spa light).

what does it mean the this is not compatible with the Generation 2.5 light show? i have the colorlogic 2.5 and need to replace it, will this not work?
thanks

Hi, Jamie. The ColorLogic 4.0 and 2.5 are not able to be synced if you have multiple lights but not changing both.
