Do you have a schematic for this Hayward filter control valve and also do you have replacement parts such as the spider gasket?

I need parts for my filter valve. When I look at the filter parts breakdown, it gives me different choices. How do I know which one is the one I need?

In order to locate the correct parts we will need to know the model number of the filter valve. Two identical filters can have two different valves. Typically the valve model will be located on the label of the valve. If there is no model number on the valve, you can try to see if there are any part numbers on the valve itself. Once you've located you valve model you can check out our >Filter Valve Parts.

Will this valve replace a push pull valve on a Hayward DE4800L? The center distance on the ports attached to the filter is 5". Or would you suggest just replacing the push pull valve I have now?

Hello Dan - The SP0740DE will work with the DE4800 series.

Do you have a video or instructions for replacing a Hayward SPO740DE on a Hayward DE3620 ProGrid Vertical DE filter system? This is new equipment for existing plumbing.

Hi, Jack. We do not have a video or instructions. You can reference the Vari-Flo Owner's Manual Model: SP0740DE, and the Pro-Grid D.E. Filter Series Owner's Manual for installation instructions.

Hello, I have a ProGrid DE6020 with this valve SP740DE but there is no Rinse option on this valve. How can I make a Rinse after using the Backwash mode of the valve ?
Thank you for your help

Hi, TahitiPool. Using this valve you will Backwash the filter, then place it back in Filter Mode. Rinse is not required since this valve has a limited options.

thank you for your answer. The problem is that a little bit of dirt comes into the pool after the Backwash with no Rinse. Do you think i can drain the soiled water of the filter with the air valve on the top of the filter in order to do a Rinse ?

You can place the valve is the Waste position for a short time to eliminate any dirt or debris from going into the pool.

I have an older Hayward 200 sand filter, not DE, and need the entire selector assembly for it. My assembly looks like the one for the DE model Hayward Selecta-Flo Multiport Valve - SP740DE. will the DE work on mine?

I am not sure what model 200 you have by Hayward, however, the S200 https://www.inyopools.com/Products/02200011071937.htm?Keywords=hayward+s200 is pretty popular. If that is your model, the Multiport Valve 1.5" for Hayward S200 Sand Filter - SP0710X32 https://www.inyopools.com/Products/02201266001085.htm is the correct valve. You are welcome to upload images of your filter and the image of the top of the valve and we will help identify it. The valve you mentioned cannot be used with sand filters.
