Are all Hayward Tristar Pumps considered variable speed?
Reply
>No, The only variable speed TriStar pump is model#: SP322063EEV. This pump requires either the SP3220VSC - TriStar Energy Solution Control stand alone control, or the SP3220VSCAQL - TriStar Energy Solution Control for Pro Logic

At 27' of head, this pump will provide an approximate 97 gallons per minute. The Hayward TriStar 3/4 HP, Energy Efficient, Full Rated Pump - SP3207EE is an awesome pump! The Tri-Star pumps are commonly found installed on pools that have some type of water features, though, you may install it in this application if desired. The Hayward SwimClear C200S Single Element Filter, Star Clear Plus 200 Sq Ft. 2 Inch Ports - C2002, or the Hayward Swimclear Cart. Filter 325 Sq Ft - C3030 are suitable for the use with this pump and your pool size.
