I have to replace my Splash Pak filter system and this seems like the same thing. Is it the total package....meaning all I have to do is assemble, connect hoses and plug in? Also does it come with a filter cartridge? Will this size handle a 10,000 gallon pool?

The CFR-75 filter was commonly used on the Splash Pak Filter systems so if you had a CFR-75 on your Splash Pak then it would just be a matter of removing your old CFR-75 and dropping in the new CFR-75 filter.

Hi, This Jacuzzi CFR-75 will replace the CFR-75 filter that you currently have. You can also use the Jacuzzi Sherlock SHER80 as a suitable replacement.

I have a 50EF that is leaking. I am thinking of buying the CFR75. Does this come with a filter or do I have to buy it separate?

I have to replace my aged PacFab Mitre 80 filter. I am hopeful that the Jacuzzi CFR 75 will be a suitable replacement. Can you tell me if I have selected a suitable replacement unit? Is it the right technology, the right size, for my hot tub installation.(I think my pipes are 2" diameter.)? If so, is the lead time still 3-4 weeks?

Hi, Tim. The CFR-75 Cartridge filter can be a suitable replace for the PacFab Mitra 80 filter depending on the flow rate that your pump generates. The CFR-75 filter can handle a max flow rate of 75 gpm and your existing filter can handle a flow rate of 80 gpm. This filter is still 3-4 weeks out to be shipped.

Had a CFR 500 Element Filtration System w/2 speed powermiser pump when I originally bought by above-ground pool in 1996. 3 years ago, my husband switched to a DE. Not happy with the DE and want to go back to the CFR I believe my original was a CFR 50, but I see that is no longer available on your website. If I go to a CFR 75 will the hook up be the same for the pump. My pool is 18" round 52".

Hi Carol, Yes the plumbing hook up's for the CFR75 would be the same as your CFR50.

Hi Edward - what is the model of the filter you are replacing and how large is your pool?  This CFR-75 is ideal for small to medium-sized residential applications and is designed for in-ground and above-ground pools.

I currently have an American Products Commander cartridge filter on my hot tub that is over 30 years old and starting to leak. The tub hold about 265 gallons. Would this Jacuzzi CFR-75 filter work to replace the filter I have? What filter would you recommend?

Hello Daniel.  The Jacuzzi Cartridge Filter CFR-75 would be an excellent value purchase and is a compatible replacement for the American Products Commander Cartridge Filter.  Installation may require plumbing adjustments to align the intake and discharge ports with existing plumbing.  At your convenience, consider purchasing an additional cartridge filter element and tank lid o-ring as a part of your hot tub repair/maintenance inventory.  Body O-ring     Jacuzzi CFR 75 Replacement Cartridge   Attached please find an exploded parts diagram of the Jacuzzi CFR 75 for reference.     Jacuzzi CFR

would this be a suitable replacement for a FNS+24 filter with a .5 hp super pump?
 Reply

A  Answered on 5/10/2022 by InyoPools Product Specialist Craig C.

Hello Bart.  The Jacuzzi CFR-75 Pool Cartridge Filter - 94222767 would be a suitable replacement for the Pentair FNS Plus model FNSP24 and is compatible with the Hayward 0.5 HP Super Pump.  The FNSP24 has a 48 GPM design flow rate.   The Jacuzzi CFR-75 has a 75 GPM design flow rate.  The CFR-75 installation will require plumbing alterations.

how do you change the filter?
 Reply

A  Answered on 9/23/2024 by InyoPools Product Specialist Rich N.

The instructions, per the manual, are:  Be sure that electrical power to the pump is OFF and inlet and outlet valves are closed if unit is located below water level. Loosen the vent plug on the top of the cover to relieve any vacuum. Depress the locking tab on the locking ring. Then, using both hands, grasp the large locking ring at the top of the filter and rotate counter-clockwise. Continue to rotate until the ring is free of filter and set aside. Remove the cover by pulling upward on the handles, rocking gently, if necessary. The element/support assembly can then be removed by grasping and lifting the two handles provided on top of the assembly. The element will slide easily off the assembly.
