We just got a house that has a 7443 spa side 4 button remote. I can get the light to go on, the spa & air blower to work, but can't get the water to heat up. I could not find a manual online on how to use the four button device. There's a series of blinking lights that I don't understand.
Is there a manual that explains the buttons?

Hello Mercedes, The owners manual we have only shows installation. Jandy Owners Manual . Sounds like the remote is in working order. Do you know what type of heater you have is it Gas or Electric. When you push the button for Heater it will not be instant it has to turn heater on and actuate the correct valves. Then will take awhile depending on tempature of spa. Check to see if your heater is even working. There should be lights on your heater that indicate if it is running or not.

Can you tell me what the red light at the centre of the 4 button control signifies ? My installation has the red light flashing when the heater is trying to get to temperature, and then turns solid red when at temperature. Is this correct ?

Is the switch set to device lock in the control panel? If it is that will cause what you are seeing shutting out the remote.
