For a color-changing LED light, how do I switch between the different settings with just a standard light switch?
Reply
The LED lights are designed to move to the next programmed setting each time you turn the switch on and off. This will toggle through the different color settings and shows.

Can I replace my incandescent Pentair 500w 120v pool light with this? Are there modifications to do for the niche or is it the same size?
Reply
You cannot screw an incandescent bulb into the Intellibrite light fixture, it will not fit. You would need to replace the complete fixture.

How many lumens does this light put out. Is it equivalent to a 500w incandescent?
Reply
Hi, Bob. We do not have the lumens of this fixture. However, if we use the manufacturer watts rating which is 26, then convert that to lumens that put this fixture at 1500 lumens.

Who backs this product if it doesn't work? the warrenty states that it must be installed by and authorized agent, so if I install it , how will the warrenty work? I'm an electrician and have installed hundreds of LED fixture so I know that there is always a possibility of getting a bad fixture or driver right out of the box. $600 is a lot of money to spend if no one will back this product.

Hi Bob, If the light did not work then you would contact us and we would work with the manufacturer to get the light replaced under warranty. As long as the light was installed properly then you will be with the warranty.

I have an older model color light (12 to 15 years). Specs are 165 watt, 120v; model 7821xx, series 600015. The color wheel works great for about 5 minutes than goes off. After about 2 to 4 minutes the light goes back on. The cycle repeats itself. Whats my problem?
Thanks

Hi Bob. The issue that you describe can be caused by a short in the internal wiring.

I have a Pentair 600015 series light. What is the newer replacement light for this? Thanks for your time.

I had an AqualuminII mounted in my pool and bought a Intellibrite 601002n and wanted to see if there is an adpter I can use to mount on the old, nichless bracket

Unfortunately no, the Intellibrite series requires its own niche for it be installed and there is no other model light to replace the Aqualiumin series besides the same yet newer models.

I have a Pentair model # V-748872 500 Watt 120 Volt 30' Cord that was installed in 2006. I want to replace it with a LED color changing light. What should I choose? Thank you.

I currently have a nonworking colorlogic in the pool now.
What pentair model should I replace it with?
and will it fit?
Reply
Hi, NJMarch3. In order to confirm which Intellibrite model you can use, I will need the model of your ColorLogic unit, or you can locate the Intellibrite with the same voltage and cord length. The Intellibrite will fit into a Hayward niche.

how much do you charge to install the light?

We, unfortunately, do not offer service for installation. We recommend getting with a certified pool contractor(CPC license) for these types of services.

Am considering upgrading to pentair LED and attempting to replace a mid 80's Sylvan pool from what appears to be a paragon kdi slimlight (see photo). Any thoughts on the intellibrite fitting into the slimlite niche?
Hi, Rob. The Pentair IntelliBrite fixture is not compatible with the Paragon Slimlite niches.

After 8 years, I have to replace 3 Intellibrite 601013 lights 12V LED 150'. Are there any options other than buying more of these same lights? Have they really been improved? Any discounts on three?

Hi, Thomas. The best route to go to purchase the Pentair Amerlite Pool Fixtures and convert them to LED using the Pentair Amerbrite Color LED Replacement Lamp 12V - 602060.

I have an older pool. The house is 30 years old and the only marking I can find is 61-4600. The rest is warn off. Cross referencing items I have found on the internet states this is a Pac Fab Hatteras Pool Light. The bulb said 120V before I ran my finger across it.. Will this light fixture fit. The measurements look very close.

Hi Denny, part number 614600 does reference the Pac Fab Hatteras clamp and the Pentair Intellibrite series pool light can replace the Hatteras series.

Hi, I have two SAM lights in my pool. only one light is working, can I change just the non-working light with a new intellibrite led color light and still have the color sync or do I have to change both lights to the intellibrite led model?
Reply
Hi Jerry, in order for the color light shows to sync both lights would need to be upgraded to the Pentair Intellibrite series lights.
