Can I use an existing Polaris booster pump, with this cleaner?

Yes if you already have a Polaris booster pump you would be able to use your existing booster pump in conjunction with this cleaner. No need to purchase a second booster pump.

What is a booster pump, and where does it attach to?

This cleaner is designated as a pressure side cleaner which means:Pressure Pool Cleaners most pressure cleaners require a booster pump which is typically a ¾ horse power pump that is dedicated for use with the cleaner alone. The booster pump allows you to operate the pressure cleaner without taking any suction away from your main pool pump. The addition of the booster pump does mean pressure cleaners require a more involved installation than either suction or robotic cleaners. The booster pump is installed in tandem with your pool pump.

How much is the Black color ? What's the differ in the 380 ?
Reply
Joe,The Polaris Black Max is 679.00 with free shipping. The differences between the 280 and the 380 is the 380 version has 3 jets, as opposed to 2, which allows for faster cleaning cycles. However, the 380 will have higher upfront and maintenance costs because it does have more moving parts and a smaller filter bag. Both are a great reputation for longevity and durability.
