Does the pump outlet rotate to the horizontal position, so it can replace the JWPA pump on the Sta-Rite PLM-150 filter system?
Reply
Hi, The Sta-Rite Dynamo 1.5 HP Pump discharge do not rotate, you will have to go with the Pentair Optiflo 1.5 HP 115/230V Horiz. Discharge 3' STD. Cord.

Satish- The Sta-Rite Dynamo 1.5 HP Pump part # 351230SR is an above ground pool pump and would not be as strong as your Dura-glas/ Max-E-Glas. A more suitable drop in replacement for your Dura-glas/ Max-E-Glas would be the Speck EasyFit MXG 1.5HP Max Rated Pump Part # IG281-1150M-0DG.

I need a replacement for my sta-rite pool pump P2RA5F-182L. Will this model be the same? I have a spa and pool.

HI Terry, The Sta-Rite Dynamo 1.5 HP Pump (351230SR) will not replace your Sta-Rite P2RA5F-182L Pump. The Speck EasyFit MXG 1.5HP Max Rated Pump (IG281-1150M-0DG) would be a more suitable replacement.

CAN THIS PUMP REPLACE MINE? MINE IS A JWPA5EL-2A2U
Reply
Hi Brenda, The JWPA5EL-2A2U is a 1 hp pump so the Sta-Rite Dynamo Pump 1 HP w/ STD Cord - 340197SR is the exact replacement. If you want to go to a 1.5 hp you will have to make sure that your filter is large enough.

I have a 1.0 horse Sta-Rite pump, model number JWPA5EL-2A2. Is this pump a compatible replacement? Thank you
Reply
Hi Greg, Yes the Sta-Rite Dynamo is the closest pump to the older Sta-Rite JWPA pump. Your pump JWPA5EL-2A2 was a 1 HP and this is a 1.5 HP so this pump will be more powerful. When speaking with Sta-Rite they have suggested that customers needing to replace their JWPA pumps should go with the Sta-Rite Dynamo pump.

I have a Sta-rite JWPA5E7L-2A1 pump will this replace it? It also has the outlet on the side not the top. does this pump come with this option?
Reply
Hi Michelle, I'm showing the Sta-rite JWPA5E7L-2A1 is a 1 HP pump, so I would suggest the Sta-Rite 1 HP Dynamo Pump. The outlet can be rotated so once you received the pump you could rotate the discharge port.

I need to replace a Sta-Rite Cristal Flo above ground pool pump (Model # ABG4E-2A4) 1 horsepower - do you have anything that could replace this?
Reply
The Dynamo would be a good replacement for that system. It would have to be the 1HP jump though unless your filter is able to handle the increased flow rate of the 1.5HP

Hi, I have a 18000 gallon above ground pool, but have always used a sand filter with an in ground Sta-Rite 2 HP pump I got from a friend years back... the motor just died. Can I use say a 1.5 HP above ground pump with the existing sand filter? It is a swim quip if I remember right. Would that filter require a centrifugal in ground pump?
Reply
Hi Dan, You can use a 1.5 hp pump to circulate the water in an 18,000 gallon pool.

My. Pump P6RA6F-206L. Is this hard to change
Reply
Good afternoon Jim, Pretty easy If you are changing the motor or installing the pump. If you are installing the New pump plumb and wire. If changing you would just need to unbolt from housing, remove diffuser and impeller and seal, and then unbolt the motor. Putting this on is the same in reverse plus changing out the shaft seal. If you need any help with either feel free to call.

What size pool or amount of water can a 1.5 sta-rite pump handle. I have a Coleman 18x48 above ground pool.

Hello, We will need to know a little bit more information on your pool. The gpms a pool pump will push is based on the total dynamic feet of head on the pool. So it will vary.
