What is the difference between the 3001 & the Dolphin ProX cleaner?
Reply
The main differences are that the 3001 has one cycle time of 6 hrs. where the ProX has three different cycle times 4, 6 or 8 hours. The ProX has a remote control so you can spot clean the bottom of the pool using the remote control. Both cleaners have a 24 month warranty, 100' swivel cable, same bag, same suction rate and both will clean pools up to 85' long. You may view or purchase either cleaner here >Dolphin Pool Cleaners

I need a part for my Dolphin pool cleaner but I don't see it on the parts breakdown. Is there still a chance you may still have it?

The manufacturer which is Maytronics, does not offer all parts for sale. If you don't see a part on the breakdown you can give us a call. For parts that they do not consider "DIY (do it yourself), you will need to contact them and send in the cleaner for repair.

So this needs to be plugged into the wall correct? Can this be done with an extension cord?

The Dolphin Dynamic ProX 2 would plug directly into an outlet. The manufacturer has advised us that an extension cord should not be used.

Will the suction and filtration rate of less then 5,000 gallons an hour be adequate for a pool with the dimensions of around 70ft by 45 feet with a maximum depth of 9ft

Yes this cleaner will work fine in the size pool you have. When placing the cleaner in the pool try to put it as close to the middle as possible.
