Will this filter replace: Unicel 135 sq ft Wc108-59SIX 135 GPM 50 PSI 135 GPM? I do not want to order a filter I am not sure will replace my existing filer.

i have a stainless steel housing for a pool cartridge filter. the brand is sta-rite. it is a posi-flo model 135 txr. on the housing is a replacement cartridge number: wc 108-59 s1x. what cartridges are available? also, what does the r mean in txr, and what does the 1 mean in s1x? thank you.

Hello Walt. Pentair/Sta-Rite indicates the replacement filter element as parts number WC108-59S2X. A compatible replacement filter element is the NFC2560 cartridge.

I have a stainless posi-flow 135TXR, length 15, width 15, height 80. The replacement indicated on the canister is wc108-59s1x. I have been unable to find replacements with the same specs.
