Hi, The Waterway Hi-Flo 1.5 Hp Above Ground Pump, 3' Cord (PD11506) does not have an On/Off Switch, has only 1 speed and comes with a standard 3 prong cord.

I have a Waterway 1.5 dual speed that needs to be replaced. Will I still be able to clean the pool (vacuum) since it does not have the high speed?
 Reply

A  Answered on 11/13/2020 by InyoPools Product Specialist Hector F.

Hi Eric, so this pump running at 1750 RPM would be equivalent to about a 3/4 hp pump. Most often that can generate enough suction to be able to vacuum an above ground swimming pool.

Is there a recommendation for another pump with same input and output specifications in regards to fitment that can be recommended since this one is out of stock?
 Reply

A  Answered on 6/3/2024 by InyoPools Product Specialist Robert M.

We don't currently have a drop-in replacement for that model. You could use the Pureline PL1502. You would then thread a hose adapter into the outlet of the pump and one into the intake of the filter. Then you could connect the two with a hose and clamps.
