Can you tell me if this filter tank body will replace the Hayward C-1100 Star Clear Filter? Also what size is the pipe 1.5" or 2"? Thanks!

That is the correct replacement tank for the C-1100. Also, it does have 2" fittings.

This is the correct lower body for the C1100 filter. This is just the tank, it does not come with any other part like the o-ring fittings etc. The C12002 will be a suitable replacement for the C1100 filter if you wanted to choose a complete filter.

Hello Melissa, The suitable replacement is Star Clear Plus 120 Sq Ft. Filter 2" Ports - C12002, this is for 2" pvc which should be on your plumbing. If you need 1.5" ports there is Star Clear Plus 120 Sq Ft. Filter 1.5" Ports - C1200. These are complete units.

Is the CX1100AA2 a direct replacement for the Hayward clear star II C1100 tank body?

Hi, Israel. This filter tank body will is the correct replacement for the Hayward Star Clear II C1100 model. However, this tank has 2" water connection ports unlike some models has 1-1/2" water connection ports. We do have it in stock, ARO to Cupertino, CA is about 5 business days after it's shipped.

Following the posts in here.
My hayward c1100 filter body tank has also failed but rather than just the tank I want to replace the whole unit with seals and pressure guage on the top. Therefore would like to substitute it for the C12002. Do you sell the 2" in and out ports as well. I doubt I will be able to reuse the existing ones because of age.
Does this unit use the same filter as the c1100 if not I will buy the filter as well.

The c1202 does come with 2 inch ports and uses the CX1200RE filter element.

I have a Star Clear II Model c1100 with 1-1/2" ports. I need to replace it and would like to know what parts I need in order to facilitate a complete replacement. My old hayward measures' 36" tall and about 9 1/4 dia, not sure what the model is it has a black top, 16,000 gal pool 1 hp pump, 1.5 inlet outlet

It is hard to find the right match going by measurements alone; but can you see a part number on the cartridge inside the filter? This will help us determine the best replacement.

I need to replace a cracked c-1100 filter. I want to go with the c1202 the problem is I need it to be the exact same size as there is such a tight space I'm dealing with.
Do you know the dimensions? I cant find them online anywhere.

Hello Laura, we would recommend checking the drain plug oring. If the unit is found and not leaking from there the body of the unit could have a hairline crack. And would need to be replaced with either a new Body, Filter Tank C-1100 (cx1100aa2). Or if you wanted to replace a complete new filter we would recommend the ProClean Plus 125 sqft Pool Cartridge Filter - PCCF-125.
