The old Polaris Universal Wall Fitting, cracked off when I tried to unscrew it. It was in place about 10 years and had a round flange (not a hex flange). So how do it get the remaining part of the Universal Wall Fitting removed with out damaging the plastic female threaded portion which appears to be cemented in the side of the pool. Does this make sense?

Tom- The easiest way that I've found to remove the universal wall fitting 3260-01 would be to take a pair of needle nose pliers, open them up inside of this fitting and rotate it out counter-clockwise.

How do I remove a universal wall fitting. Seems to be stuck. Does it come off counter clockwise?

Steve, The wall fitting is threaded into the wall. If it is stuck, you will probably have to use a wrench to remove the fitting similar to this how to guide.

Do you sell a plug for the UWF to seal off the pool. I take my Polaris out during the winter and need to put a closure value in the place of the UWF
