Hi Beth, If you have a Standard Inlet Fitting Which Looks Like This than this eyeball fitting would work with your pool.

My inlet valve Sp1419D broke the ring that keeps the directional eyeball in place. I measure the female ring at 2" as well as the male threaded end which it screws onto. Do you have an SP1419D that is 3/4" by 2" female threads?

Hi Jim, All these inlets are the same except for the size of the eyeball. These Inlet Eyeball Fittings are meant to thread into one of these Wall Fittings depending on you pool type. They do not come in 2" female threads, but you might be referring to the Directional Lock Ring (SPX1419D1)

Do they make a Directional Lock Ring (SPX1419D1) that is solid (no hole for the eyeball). To winterize my old pool, I would unscrew the eyeball and lock ring and replace it with a cover that just screwed on from inside the pool. My old one doesn't fit my new pool.

I am missing an eyeball and a locking ring, but I have no idea how to measure it?

Hello Mike.  Pool return jet eyeballs are typically all the same size for any given pool.  If you have multiple return jets, by measuring the diameter of the eyeball opening you can determine the size required to replace the one missing.  A replacement return jet comes complete with an eyeball, lock ring, and ball seat.  The ball seat is a standard 1.5-inch male threaded fitting that threads into the female pipe fitting in the side of the pool.  The eyeball fits into the female socket and is held in place with the lock ring.  Return jet eyeballs come in several diameters, 3/8, 1/2, 3/4, and 1 inch.  Attached are pictures of return fittings as sample sizes.   Eyeball, 1/2" Opening, White (25552.200) - 25552-200-000   Eyeball, 3/8" Opening, White (25552.100) - 25552-100-000
