I have a Kreepy Krauly Vinyl Pool cleaner 70405 and need a new pleaded seal. I was told the part no. was K12270 but I am not sure. I know this pool cleaner now has a new design but mine is the older model. I purchased it in 2013. Do you have a replacement part that will fit?

My Kreepy Krauly must be at least 10 to fifteen years old. I would guess it to be a 94 but do not know where to look on the unit to really know the model number.
Any help appreciated to nail down the model to buy parts . My pool person said the new pletted seal is now green in color but I only see blue ones. Help.

Hi John. We sell a pleated seals for Kreepy Kraulys circa 2000 at the following link, and a broader selection here. You can view the dimensions and see if you have a match. I've seen seals in several different colors including gray. On the newer models the model number can be found on the underside of the handle assembly.

i havekreepy krauly fo two year for somr reson it stop going to top of wall of the pool what is the problem

It is possible the filter is dirty or is restricting flow causing a reduction in the suction. It is also possible that the return jets are pushing the hose away. You may have a broke part in the cleaner. You will need to check all of these things and eliminate them one by one.

I have a 360040 and it appears i have a smooth seal that doesn't seem to work on my vinyl pool liner. Should i replace it with a pleated seal?
Reply
Yes the flat seal is designed for concrete pools and the pleated seal is a universal seal that can be used on concrete, vinyl or fiberglass pools. We would suggest replacing your flat seal with this pleated seal.

My kreepy krauly is still working after 3 years, but seals is slowly disintegrating and needs to be replaced. If I just need this seal, does the old one just slip off and this one slips on? Thank you so much for your time.

Hello, Yes, this would be the correct part. You would need to remove the foot pad then replace the pleated seal.
