I have a multiport valve Hayward 710-R50, is there a rebuild kit for this valve?

There is not a kit available for the Hayward SP710XR50 valve, you will have to purchase the part separately. You can find all the parts needed via Hayward Multiport Vari-Flow 1-1/2" SP-710X, SP-712, SP-711 1976-Current Parts.

Is the inlet from the pump threaded? Mine is leaking right there and it looks like the PVC connector is threaded. If so, I can just cut the PVC and replace the threaded section with Teflon tape or equivalent versus replacing the whole multi port valve if it is not threaded and glued in.

Hi, David. The Ports are threaded so you can repair the lead without replacing the valve.

Where is the Spider Gasket on this unit? On the hub/body or on the bottom of the diverter on the key? Your video shows installation of the gasket on the units body vs. you step by step written tips shows it on the diverter bottom. Which is best? Where does the OEM-Hayward put it?

Hello, the spider gasket is located on the bottom body of the multiport valve. It sits in a groove and is set in place using an adhesive. You can use Clear RTV Silicone.
