I have a Hayward H250ED2 pool heater that needs a new control board as the sun has almost completely destroyed the plastic buttons on the control board. What is the difference between the HAXCPA1932 and the HAXCPA3253 besides the price. The circuit board is still OK on my control panel just the push buttons barely work.

Hello Arthur. I spoke to the Hayward Technical line and they told me that HAXCPA1932 is the control board, bezel and key pad. The HAXCPA3253 is the control board, bezel , keypad AND the piece of sheet metal used to hold it in. He was unsure as to why the one with less cost more. But did assure me that for a 250DS, the best value is the HAXCPA3253

I have a Hayward H300ED2 pool heater I'm pretty sure the control panel is shot. I cant navigate the temp up or down without it flashing and when it reverts back to steady the number is at current pool temp (62). It fires for just 15 seconds then goes out.

From the info you gave it would appear that the control is working correctly. It will display the actual tempo when not flashing. When you press the temp button it will flash to tell you are in set temp mode. It would appear you have a different error happening after it fires up.
