I broke the black dial on the"terminal board w/voltage switch. Is ther a way to eliminate board and hard wire @ 230 volts?

Tom, There is a way to wire the motor with out the terminal board, but I will recommend consulting with a license electrician or replace the Terminal Board Assy W/voltage Switch (628401-001).

When i run the pump without the pool cleaner, it runs about 5 min and shuts off
Comes back on in about 3 min . Doesint do this with cleaner and motor doesint seem that hot

Vic, Not sure what's going on, usually it will be the other way around because when the cleaner is working it can put extra load on the motor. Do think replacing the Terminal Board Assy W/voltage Switch (628401-001) will solve your problem but you can give it a try.

I removed the capacitor/switch cover to discover the terminal board w/voltage switch was broken and crumbling. How are the motor leads disconnected and reconnected to the back of the new rotary switch (black rotor)?

Hi, Dave. We will need to know the motor's Part, Cat or Model number in order to locate the wiring diagram.
