The valve label is not sold separately, you'll have to replace the Valve Cover Dvk-7 to get the valve label.

Can this Jacuzzi Laser Sand Filter be used on a swimming pool? My pool is 4 feet high, 24 feet long, and 12 feet wide. Like I said the Hayward GM filter tank I have, GMX142AB1, is no longer available. I just want to be clear before I order the comparable filter, if it can be used on a pool, thanks.

Yes the Jacuzzi Laser Sand Filter can be used on a swimming pool and is most commonly used on above ground pools.

is there a basket inside at the top, under the dial, that needs to be emptied from time to time.

Hi Cindy, The Jacuzzi Laser Sand Filter does have a Upper Standpipe Basket Assy (88158001R000) that will require cleaning over time.

he sand filter is cleaned by using the backwash feature on the valve. You would clean the filter once the pressure in the tank has reached 8-10psi higher than the clean starting pressure.

Does the sand come with it or is

The filter sand is not included with the filter. You would need to purchase the sand locally. This filter used 140 lbs. of sand. You would need to buy from a local pool or hardware store pool filter sand only. Playground sand will not be acceptable.

My above ground pool is 12,000 to 15,000 gallons , will that Sand filter be enough for it?

Hi, Jeremy. This L160-7C filter can be used to filter a 12K-15K gallon pool if the flow rate of the pump does not exceed 34 GPM or allow the filter operating pressure to exceed 35-PSI.

We have a 20 yr old Jacuzzi 6 valvue Model L-160. that started leaking so we just need to replace the canister and sand. Our pool is a 24 round above ground and holds 10,000 gal. we replaced the motor and all hoses we just need the sand filter? Which one do you suggest?
