So if this model does require breathing tube, where does it go. I see a raised rectangle area where the tube normally would go. Does this get popped off? I need to know before I choose this one over the alternate R0357600

Regarding the breather tube, I'm still confused after reading Q&A. I have a tube on my current setup for my CL460. I need to replace the manifold. Do I need the manifold, breather, and O-ring? Please clarify with part numbers / photos if possible.
Will a V55-200 work?

The image looks most like the Generic Cartridge Top Manifold with O-ring (R0357600) - 25357-850-000 which is for the Jandy CV Series Cartridge Filters shown here http://www.inyopools.com/parts_jandy_cv_cartridge_filters.aspx I was unable to verify a manifold with p/n on yours. It is best to provide the model number off of the filter label on the outside of the tank.
