about 7 years ago i bouth a autopilot salt chlorinator with you and now it seems like the salt cell SC-48 is not working anymore. Can you tell me if the Generic Grac/AP/SC48 salt cell is fitting as a replacement cell to my system?

Hi Robert, Yes this GRCAPSC48 salt cell is the proper replacement salt cell for your AutoPilot SC-48.

what is the advantage to use your cell instead of autopilot and does is come with the same connector

The main benefit to the after market autopilot cell is the price and the same quality cell. The aftermarket autopilot cell has 2 prongs but fits the autopilot 3 prong cord without problem.
