I checked out the manufacturer of this safety cover and they state they are ideal in areas of little to no snow. If this is true they wouldn't be of much use in the north where I'm located. Am I missing something here?

Greg, In an area that gets heavy snow, the snow needs to be removed as quickly as possible. If it is a light coating, that is not an issue. If the snow accumulation is several inches, it can cause the cover to fall into the pool due to how the weight is being distributed on the cover. .

What is the measurement between anchors on the long sides (36ft side) and on the sort sides (16ft side)?
Reply
Hi, Pam. On the long side, the anchor points are 5'-5" a part and 6'-0" on the short side.

Couple of questions
1, we are replacing an existing solid safety covers and anchors are already in ground. Will the match?
2. Does the 4×8 cover the steps part?
3. They said an elephant can stand on cover (loop loc) is this as strong?
4. Is the solid better with rain and snow?
Reply
Hi, Concetta. This cover will not match your existing cover. Yes, the 4' x 8' section is for the steps. This cover is just as strong. A solid cover will not let rain or snow seep through into the pool, only from the center drain.

Ok if the anchors don't match what do we do, we have our old cover could we do a template? Can you advise?

Hi, Concetta. We can arrange it where your existing cover can be used as a template to make a new cover so that the anchor points can match. Please contact our office for more details.

I have a 16' x 32' with center end steps, my current green cover has 8 straps down each side evenly spaced then on the non-steps end there are 5 evenly spaced straps, on the step end it has the extra chunk to cover the steps with a total of 7 straps, 2 being on the 16' corners and the other 5 straps around the steps. Will this cover line up with my current cover that has failed. thanks
Hi, Reg H. This cover will NOT match your existing layout based on your sketch. You can view the 16x32CES Template.

If my pool measures 17 x 33 and the steps are 4 x 8 which size pool cover do I use? Rectangular in shape with center steps.

Based on the information provided we would need a custom cover measurement form filled out and returned.

One of the pics show anchors but the description never mentioned them. The A's to the Q&A's trek us that it comes with springs, but no mention of anchors. Ease my mind, does all of the hardware shown in the one description picture come with the cover. Thx

These safety covers come with all hardware needed for installation on a concrete pool deck.

Do you sell loop lock covers? Or the equivalent ? I have a 31X 18 rectangle with steps. Our old cover tore. On your special order form what does spacing mean 5X5 or 3X3? I'm assuming it means strap spacing. Could I sand my old cover to you or is that feasible? How long does it usually take to have a cover made shipped? Thank you.

Hi, Neil. We do not carry Loop Loc Covers. That does refer to the spacing. We can use your cover as a template using our Template by Cover Doctor Program. The lead time is 2-3 weeks on average.
